About the Event
Do you want to learn a new hobby that can entertain you on the days where getting outside in the sun is not an option? Need something to keep your hands busy while you watch TV? Bea Mehl and Connie Taylor will be here to teach us the skills we need to control two kneedles and a ball of yarn. From casting on to knit/perl to casting off. Join us for an afternoon of fun and frustration. The Yarn Patch in Crossville is giving the ETGC members 10% off on your supply purchase for this class. Their employees can guild you in getting the right supplies.
Supplies you will need to bring to class:
* Yarn - size 4 worsted - choose a light color yarn as it is makes stitches easier to see.
* Circular knitting needles - US 6, 7 OR 8 with cord length 16" to 24". US 8 is the most commonly used but if not available a 6 or 7 will do.
* Stitch markers
* Row counter that fits your needle
Class is free for everyone.
