About the Event
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON 3/10/26 @ 6 A.M. PLEASE COME BACK TO THIS SITE AT THAT TIME!
Under the expert guidance of Midge Haughey and Kim McCoy, who have been making cheese together for many years, you’ll discover that making ricotta and mozzarella is not only simple but also enjoyable.
All you need are a few basic ingredients, a simple food thermometer, and some cheesecloth. Whether you’re a beginner or just curious, we’ll take the mystery out of cheese-making and show you how delightful and achievable it can be. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to recreate these cheeses at home and enjoy the magic of homemade cheese!
Class Details:
This class is free for all 2026 ETGC members, and there is a $10 fee for all non-members. If you’d like to join ETGC, you can visit etgc.org to download an application and submit it with all the appropriate items.
And remember: it’s all fun and games until someone loses their curd!
TO VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH CLASS: Please register for class and follow the directions. Volunteers are required to arrive a half hour early and stay a half hour after class ends.
