About the Event
Bring your KitchenAid Stand Mixer and learn how to service and maintain it yourself. This is a true hands-on class, so you will be working on your own mixer as we go through the process together.
We will open the mixer, remove the old grease, clean the internal components, replace the gasket, apply fresh food grade grease, and properly reassemble your mixer. You’ll also learn what to look for as your mixer ages and how routine maintenance can help keep it running smoothly for years to come.
What to Bring
• Your KitchenAid stand mixer
• Required maintenance kit from the link below
• #2 Phillips head screwdriver
• Small flat head screwdriver
• Needle nose pliers
• Small hammer or mallet
• Small pin punch, approximately 5/32 inch
• A few old rags or shop towels
•An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting a little greasy
Required Maintenance Kit:
Please purchase your food grade grease and gasket kit before class and bring it with you.
Please do not take your mixer apart before class. We will start together and work through the entire process step by step. Because everyone will be working on their own mixer, this class is intentionally limited to 6 participants so there is plenty of time for individual instruction and help. Don’t worry if this class fills up. We will be offering additional KitchenAid Stand Mixer Maintenance classes.
Class is FREE for all 2026 ETGC members. $10 for Non-Members. If you are not a member yet and would like to join, visit ETGC.org, download the membership application, mail it in with the required materials, and join us for an exciting new year of education, skills, and hands-on learning.
