We have the opportunity to glean blackberries in Crossville. The grass between the rows is severely overgrown so members must be willing and able to traverse difficult terrain. Limited to 10 members. Please read below for further information.

About the Event

  1. Open to members only.  Please do not bring non-members to gleans.
  2. Blackberries plants are not thornless and the rows are overgrown.  There are a lot of berries, but you will have to move around a lot to get the ripe ones.
  3. Crossville location will be provided to the first 10 who register.
  4. We may have additional blackberry gleans as berries mature.
  5. Recommend that boots, long pants, and long sleeve shirts be worn.  Bring water and hats - field is in full sun.
  6. Picture is of actual blackberry field to be gleaned.
