About the Event
This class has been asked for several times and it is finally here. Â Bea Mehl will be teaching the basics of quilting while you sew those techniques into a placemat. Â We will have several assistance that can walk around and help if needed.
Supply list:
Two Fat Quaters of fabric (the placemat will be reversable so pick maybe one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas - NO GLITTER)
Spool of thread to match fabric
Scissors
Sewing Machine - in working order there will not be anyone to do repairs this time.
Power cord
Walking foot for quilting (if you have one)
A non parishable food item to donate to the church for letting us use the facility for free.
Instructor will provide pattern and batting for one placemat.
Class size is limited so RSVP to reserve your seat.
Class is free for members and $5 for non memebers.
